Rookie VBNer Posts: 23 04/11/08 13:50:13	I PUT A CLAIM IN FOR IU. AND HAD A C&P EXAM A MONTH A GO, I CALLED TO CHECK ON MY CLAIM AND THE SAID MY CLAIM IS FOR imncompetent. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN. I AM NOW 70% BIPOLAR SC.

Posts: 10 04/11/08 20:30:35	iam going through the same thing 70% bipolar put a claim in and got iu.but now they are saying iam incompetent and they are holding the increase till i can prove that iam not.i have 60 days to send proof.doctors note ect.if not they will asign somebody to be in charge of my money.judiciary.good luck.

Posts: 27 05/17/08 08:53:40	I had a friend that was placed under incompetent, in the begining he fought it with Dr letters stating he could handle his own money. the claim dragged on for ever. Recently was told that they would have his wife as his fiduciary. All agreed and it has been a few months since then. They should have his claim complete with his wife as fiduciary in the next month or two. If he didn't fight it in the begining he would have this claim settled already.
