I was just wondering who is responsible for starting the MEB. I was on a temp profile and it was only for 90 days, I have no diagnosis yet and it has been almost 2 years of trying to figure out what I have. Several choices are MS, Firbo, GWS, I am in the National Guard and have my 20 year letter, but have served some active duty time, to include my deployment to Iraq. Question about "recuping severance pay"

While out-processing at Fort Drum, my VA contact informed me that it was possible to have the recuping percentage reduce down if you/ your family were in dire need of income. New to MEB process and needing advice

Well here is what my husband has wrong with him that he will present during the MEB. What I would like to know is can someone give us an idea of what disability percentage we would be looking at hypothetically.

His conditions as listed in his service record, LOD's and medical records (yes I get a copy of EVERYTHING).

I am in need of some advice, I am still in the National Guard and have my retirement letter, so I have my time in, but my time has been active, reserves and national guard. I'm terminal leave and was suppose to retire on the 1st of August, but two days ago I was told that they are going to a Med board on me and have placed me on MEDICAL HOLD. AGR medical discharge

I've been AGR for 5 years I have 4 years of active and 19yrs all together National Guard and full time. My PEB packet is turned in and it's a matter of time. APFT While Pending MEB?

I have a question. I can't find it in any regulations, policy letters, or forums.

Can the unit require me to take the APFT while pending MEB/PEB?
I have a (new)P3, but I am still in the recovery period for the temporary profile for the same injury, and I no longer do pushups.
I have another temporary profile for my back injuries, that only worsened while I was pending MMRB, and I had to serve as Range Cadre for 10 day grenade range.

I am now an AF Reservist, (4 1/2 yrs active duty AF, 8 year break in service, and 2 yrs AF reserve- all of which I have been working Active Duty orders in one form or another) however while working an extended MPA tour for active duty at my home station, I injured my back. I am currently awaiting my spinal fusion L4-S1, as every attempt of a conservative treatment, (injections, Physical therapy, TENS, etc) has all failed. ignoring what meb doctors say

can the VA completely overlook and dismiss what the meb doctors say and just use your peb as their basis of grantation of a claim. The VA told me that the PEB (pencil pushers) decision is the one that they have to go by and they completely ignored what my meb doctors wrote in their report on me. I always thought that the VA had to consider all the pertinent imformation available but they sure did not on my original claim.

If this in in the wrong section please move it. I will make a long story short. Matt injured his knee in 2005 and was sent back to the states for surgery. With compilations from surgery they finally ran a blood test that showed Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. He was told it was from the anthrax shot. Ok, so I have been in the active Army since Aug 2006, and first got injured in Basic Training, but the troop clinic E-5 said I just pulled a muscle, I finished the last 3 1/2 weeks of Basic limping like a dog, but made it. I got to AIT and a civilian doctor (best I have had my whole enlistment), had me get an x-ray, bone scan, and MRI. Turns out I had a fracture in my hip and a hemorrhaged disk.
