almost 2 years of trying to figure out what I have.  Several choices are MS, Firbo, GWS, I am in the National Guard and have my 20 year letter, but have served
some active duty time, to include my deployment to Iraq.  This is where it gets interesting, I did not have these issues before going to the sand box, and I

While out-processing at Fort Drum, my VA contact informed me that it was possible to have the recuping percentage reduce down if you/ your family were in dire
need of income.  Does anyone know where this is or even if it is true?  I have read through most of the post and have the M21 downloaded and constantly review
it and search for information on this.  (and yes the term severance pay is so misleading that it... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I am in need of some advice, I am still in the National Guard and have my retirement letter, so I have my time in, but my time has been active, reserves and
national guard.  I was in Iraq in &#39;05-&#39;06 and now I am having a ton of medical problems.  My question is am I better off to get another temp profile
and wait it out or do I try and do the MEB.  See all of my treatment has been thru the VA but when I go to the doc they never say the same thing twice, it is

me on MEDICAL HOLD.  My commander wanted to know if I wanted to stop my terminal leave and come back to work on a limited basis? There is a reason I decided to

			<title><![CDATA[ AGR medical discharge ]]></title>

together National Guard and full time.  My PEB packet is turned in and it&#39;s a matter of time.  I have Degenertive Disk D  and is noted service related. 
But what will be the out come? Discharged wait till I&#39;m 60 for benifits or benifits right away( I&#39;m 42)? I&#39;ve been told different things. Funny

I have a (new)P3, but I am still in the recovery period for the temporary profile for the same injury, and I no longer do pushups.

I have another temporary profile for my back injuries, that only worsened  while I was pending MMRB, and I had to serve as Range Cadre for 10 day grenade
range.

			<description><![CDATA[ I am now an AF Reservist, (4 1/2 yrs active duty AF, 8 year break in service, and 2 yrs AF reserve- all of which I have been working Active Duty orders in one
form or another) however while working an extended MPA tour for active duty at my home station, I injured my back. I am currently awaiting my spinal fusion
L4-S1, as every attempt of a conservative treatment, (injections, Physical therapy, TENS, etc) has all failed. I have decided to more forward with the fusion

			<description><![CDATA[ can the VA completely overlook and dismiss what the meb doctors say and just use your peb as their basis of grantation of a claim.  The VA told me that the PEB
(pencil pushers) decision is the one that they have to go by and they completely ignored what my meb doctors wrote in their report on me.  I always thought
that the VA had to consider all the pertinent imformation available but they sure did not on my original claim. ]]></description>

I was also injured in Afghanistan back in 2003, left active duty for the IRR in 2005. Was granted 10% by the VA which they even told me was a sham. They told
me to appeal it and was granted 50%. I received this letter when I was already recaleld back out of the IRR for Iraq. I was then blown-up 3 times and sent back
stateside with a head injury (TBI), loss of hearing, balance issues... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, so I have been in the active Army since Aug 2006, and first got injured in Basic Training, but the troop clinic E-5 said I just pulled a muscle, I finished
the last 3 1/2 weeks of Basic limping like a dog, but made it. I got to AIT and a civilian doctor (best I have had my whole enlistment), had me get an x-ray,
bone scan, and MRI. Turns out I had a fracture in my hip and a hemorrhaged disk. I was on crutches for 13 weeks, and graduated AIT about a week or so later.
Got to my first duty... ]]></description>
