I am sick and tired of waiting for the army to see me as medically unfit to serve, and just plain messed up. I don't think they will initiate any medboard process unless I ask for it. of course, that could just backfire in my face, but maybe not.

I've been working out, getting back into shape, I've only been on TDRL since Feb. 07 - so fairly recent discharge. I'm interested in getting off TDRL I feel I am recovering rapidly, and wasting goverment money better suited to someone with worse problems. I also feel that I am fit to return to duty, army infantry.

I wanted to ask if anyone else was having any issues with not getting the 18 month followup board while on TDRL?

After being on the TDRL for 20 months, i called the TDRL section for the USMC and asked them what was taking so long. I didnt want to be UA or anything. THey stated that they had sent my info to Great Lakes NS for my followup board since i had moved to Chicago and that they would contact me when they were ready.
