Has everyone noticed the many continuous problems vietnam veterans often encounter with their claims? It seems that the american population , in general, despises all vietnam veterans even though they were just doing their duty for their country. Congress and the VA turns their backs on so many veterans when they should not be doing so. I am not talking about the false claims that are being denied by the VA but the legitimate ones. What are my chances of getting rated for hypertension if I didn't have hypertension before active service, but when given my discharge final physicial exam, I had a reading of Pre-Hypertension of 132/88 and have had hypertension ever since. I take four medications for hypertension daily.

ProsTate is that little walnut sized gland in the male species body that can get cancer and if not treated cause you to be like the above statement!

I always thought that the BVA was just an extension of the regional offices and thus should have to follow the principles set forth by M21-1 in their claims decisions. If this is so then how can they ignore or contradict the decisions put forth by regional offices. One simple situation is when the BVA states that a harbor (danang harbor) is actually an inland waterway and service there qualifies a navy veteran as having service in vietnam while the regional office states...

This has probably been ask before, but have ran into a person that is telling Vets that claiming do to exposure to agent orange causes HBP and in turn causing ED. Now he is saying his PD at the VA has told him so.
I have not seen this anywhere. I don't want to call him on it till I know better.
