complications. I can prove boots on ground and was curious if I might get a better idea of what I might expect for help from the VA. I was an air traffic
controller stationed at Phu Cat AFB, RVN. I have the following problems, all pointed out in a letter from my personal doctor.

I am sc for DM II. Have seen a primary care doc and a neurologist. Neuro doc dx me with pn both hands and feet, primary doc agrees. Both of them used pin prick
tests. I have an EMG early next month. I also have some other appts for sc issues (PTSD, Reflux, IBS).

Should I file for the PN now or wait until results of EMG?

Is it possible the EMG will not show np, thus reversing the DX?

			<description><![CDATA[ I have submitted a claim for neuropathy and retinopathy. The retinopathy shouldn&#39;t be a problem as I have had cataracts removed and 5~6 laser surgeries on
both eyes by both a civiian and the VA. I have been requested to provide proof of the neuropathy and not sure actually what is proof. Recently I injured my
left foot and it got infected. The doctor said that it was from my DMII. The other foot is the same, just not injured. As far as the hand goes in researching

			<description><![CDATA[ I am rated 20% for PN in each foot.  My last increase was July of 08 from mild to moderate.  After the increase the VA therapist told me I had foot drop when I
told him my feet feel like they flop when I walk.  I was issued a cane and shoe inserts.  The VA podiatrist told me I have the beginning of severe neuropathy
in my feet as my toes are numb.  My question is, does this warrant filing for an increase for severe PN in the feet?  Thank you for your help. ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ First thanks for the insight, I&#39;m sure you&#39;ll give.  I was just put on metformin on Friday for diabetes.  For years I&#39;ve been in the 100-115 range
on my glusose screenings and was told I was <u>borderline diabetic</u>.  It&#39;s jumped to 125, not really high, but it&#39;s enough to be on the metformin.
