I have two buddy letters that I sent with it along with a letter from me describing the incident. ( A man got sucked into an S-3 intake onboard the USS Independence. ) Also sent photos of the Indy cruise book showing tha I was definitly there. Here's the delema.

While no one doubts the incident or my involvement, the 2 buddy letters fall short of saying that "I WAS ON THE FLIGHT DECK OR NEXT TO THE PLANE" when it happened. Got diagnosed with DBII in Dec 2008 AO approved in June 2009 20 percent,
but ever since been think about the ghost of the past in NAM. Was not a combat vet
was in the Air Force in the Mekong Delta, Can DBII being from AO have these things come back.
