I am sorry I have been away from the forum for a while. I've been dealing with depression and PTSD issues, as well as a relocation, and I had almost given
up on my SSDI claim after it went past the two year point. But I just had my judicial hearing on Oct 15th and yesterday the brown envelope brought great news:
fully favorable decision. It was a wonderful boost and I just wanted to log on the VBN and thank everyone for their support, information and advice....

Patrick,
I just read your post on the SSDI exam, good intel. Question, When a veteran first applies for SSDI, how far back does SSDI conciser his menial evidence to be
relevant in a claim?

I would think if a veteran is 100% P&T for a PTSD, the dates of his medical evidence shouldn't matter as long as he is able to show a resent nexus
letter from his primary care physician stating his condition has not improved sense he received his rating decisions two years earlier....
