			<description><![CDATA[ Hello, IU gurus.  Need some advice.  Here&#39;s the scoop:  I am IU P/T, rated in 2004.  My basic rating is 70% for lumbar disc disease.  Last December, I
needed emergency surgery for a collapsed L4-L5 herniation.  Postsurgery, I developed a severe DVT in my left leg (that&#39;s a blood clot for those fortunate
enough never to have suffered one).  That required further hospitalization and vascular intervention.

June 16 i was denied.  Just now my Legion rep calls and says it had foot stomp comments that they needed an 8940  lol.  We are both in utter amazement. 
Because an 8940 is what i used to apply for IU  and now it has disappeared.  Continual amazement!! I now Know why VA is so far behind on claims.  Appears
regional offices have a difficult time trackin paper and not losing it.  I really pray it doesnt take everyone 12-24 months to get benefits as they... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I am now rated- 70% total= 60% loss of R-eye,cataract L eye,2o% DMII, R&amp;L lower extremities neuropthy 10% each=70% few other non SC issues. I am not
working and it looks like I cant. I have poor Vision and cant be on my feet for verry long. I do not sleep well at all.I was getting my meds at the clinic and
talked to a VA clerk who I talk to when I go to the clinic.He said I qualify for IU. Can you guys give me a little kick in the rigt direction.I dont have a VA

asked if he was the only one left to look at my claim, and she stated, one more person had to look at it.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I am preparing my case for I/U and preparing a letter of en-tent to my employer for why I&#39;m leaving.  I am putting the cause for early retirement due to
medical reasons.  Should I put medical reasons due to military service connected disabilities or leave it our.  On one hand it&#39;s true but sounds like to
much information.

I&#39;m currently 40% back 20% each leg bilateral and 30% PTSD, total 80%.  Appreciate any good advise.  Thanks</p>

I recently returned from deployment to Iraq in Oct 07, was diagnosed with PTSD and awarded 50%.  Since going back to work my employer has never put me back in

 First filing got 40% SC which I considered low in regard to the effect the conditions have on me. I now think the rater did not see a key part of my evidence
and the 40% would be in line with that.

 Filed for an increase and was raised to 80% SC. In that increase they gave me 10% for my upper extremities that I had not even filed for.
<br>
My claim for IU was defered,

 Had a C&amp;P exam for IU. an the award letter about a month latter.
