Dont wont to start an argument, and maybe this should be in the AO threads, but it concerns IU so I put it here.

Just supposing, the House and Senate pass those bills, granting bluewater navy and others, presumptives to AO.

I filed a claim, and was granted, a Non-Service Connected pension, back to the day I filed, in December 2003. I had a C&P, and was totaled to 80% unemployable and granted the NSCP. (but when I received the SSDI i had filed, the NSCP was stopped)...

any increase for 2010

Hello, I was hoping someone could answer my questions if possible.

I am 60% combined (40%/30%/10%) for DDD, Depression and HBP. I know I don't meet the minimum requirements to apply for IU. Is there any way I could still apply for it? Today I got the unpleasant news that my IU application has been denied. I've read the decision in part and it says that my SC conditions does not prevent me from obtaining employment. One of the reasons also is that my low back pain and my right arthritic knee has been reduced in rating from 20% for each to 10% respectively. Well, got the new today. IU approved, P and T. I applied in June and the decision was made on 30 Oct. Four months, with a one month delay due to my previous employer not filling out the paperwork. This comes at a particularly good time as I had a Social Security physical today. I can now send in the decision statement to SS and wait for their decision.

I just recently re-opened my claim for CAD because of IHD being added to the AO list. I originally filed for CAD in 2001 along with my claim for DMII but was denied for CAD on the grounds it was not secondary to my DM. So I re-opened the claim on 10/19/2009. I am rated 20% for DMII and 10% for tinnitus - total of 30%. I am filing for some other stuff and I got a packet today from the RO. It deals with this pilot project for claims and if you have your ducks in a row they say they will process your claim in 90 days. There is some stuff about waiving things and I need to see my VSO before I would waive anything, but would this program work for TDIU? Anyone know?

Brown Envelope Came Today!!

I received my brown envelope today and was immensley puzzled and surprised both. I was bumped to 100% but denied IU. I filed for IU through the Cleveland RO in September. I received a letter on Saturday stating that I would be scheduled for an exam to reevaluate all of my service connected conditions. Is this normal when applying for IU.May be a silly question .

How many years back do they go? Also, if I have to leave my current position due to my sc'd condition/conditions, can I take the form to our hr department for them to fill out and send in or does it have to be mailed from the regional office?

Finally after 29 months i had a chance to tell my side of the story &was represented by dynamite dav rep,the hearing really well , the hearing officer was very thorough & had lots of questions , who was actually an attorney, anyway i got extremely emotionally , fell apart 3 different Xs crying, i'd say the hearing lasted about 55 mintues ....i meet the criteria of 70% ( already 40% ) ...the long & short of it is my DAV Rep argued for 50% PTSD w/a combined rating...

Hello everone
After 4 and half years and an appeal I finally got "90% " with PT & IU.
I started at 70% in 2005, became 80% at 2008 and now I am 90% with I U and P T Dated 2005.
my SC are:
50 migraine headaches
30 PTSD
30 & 30 & 10 & 10 & 10 & 10 Different Scars
10 Deviated Symptoms "Nose"
Now what? I was told not to put anymore new claims in so they would not...
