Hi everybody, I have been scheduled for a C&P for Hepatitis C and I am unsure what to expect. First, I should say that my VSO did file a claim for it in my behalf so it is not unexpected, but I have no idea what they will want me to bring or what to expect.

If I have disabilities of Right knee for 2 knee replacements, between 2/06 and 2/07, and in Dec. 2007 the MTF ortho specialist did a MEB with dictation on the knee of chronic pain and residual weakness stating that maximum medical benefit has been reached, what is the chance that I will have a C&P for that condition? Also being treated currently for pain management due to this and left knee problem.

Is there any time frame from diagnosis and treatment of a condition, to claim...

My husband was a chopper pilot in nam and has moderate to profound hearing loss. He filed for disability back in the late 80s and was denied. He refiled last year and was denied, but the audiologist told him to file for tinnitus.
He had his C&P with the audiologist and she said both his tinnitus and hearing loss are more like than not caused from being a pilot.
He had the follow=up C&P with the GP doctor this morning and instead of just turning in the tinnitus, he also...

So my DAV NSO is back to playing possum, which is to say that I cannot get him to respond to me at all. I need to submit a NOD on two ratings that were decided on July 9th this year. I had forwarded an emailed NOD to my NSO for him to submit to the VA, I have no idea if he did so.

Went to my C&P exam for rating increase for PTSD and mention my high blood pressure and chestpain then a few days later I received a letter asking for more info. First they sent me a letter telling me if I wanted them to decide my case for PTSD in 60 days send VCAA back. I sent the letter telling them to decide my case in 60 days. 30 days later they sent me a letter asking for more information about chest pain and high blood pressure.

I didnt get any input from WRIST APPEAL POST. Over 300 views but no input. Lets hear it. Im ready for the opinions. Everyone has one. I have passed the 1 year mark for appealing my wrist. Correct me if Im wrong in that now the VA will not go back to original date of filing. Or the date of S/C for an appeal on this claim.

I have reviewed and understand that requesting my C&P exams will have to go to Regional Office(San Diego). My question is that by doing so will slow down the processing of my claims. I'm well ahead of the process I have completed my scheduled C&P exams and won't retire until Jan09. But, could my reviewing C&P exam aid me by not having to go through (if required) another C&P exam some time after my rating is done?

Hello all, quick question for clarification purposes.

I have been scheduled for my C&P Exam on August 5. I am going to see an Internist who is supposed to evaluate my DMII,
vascular problems and heart condition.

My question is, why would an internist evaluate my vascular and heart conditions, when the VARO has all my medical records, test results and letters from my doctors. I am sure there is a simple answer.

Greetings all. I'm new here and have a question about a claim with the VA.

I filed the claim back in August 2007 for pneumonia induced asthma. I had the C&P exam here in Germany on 30 April and was wondering how long it takes before the VA makes their decision on a claim in general - any idea? The US Consulate indicated that they had sent the exam results to the VA on 12 June by email. Also, would the VA send me to a C&P if my claim were to be denied anyway?

Migraine

I have a rating of 60% seizure disorder 10% left knee.. Have ongoing migraine headaches and have been diagnosed with this thru VA and they have me on meds... Question is can I and should I get a rating for the migraines... I am the middle of the IU process for the seizures... Would this be considered a byproduct of the seizure disorder... On (2) Meds for seizures tegretol and keppra... Cholesterol meds and Meds for migraines...The Cholestrol is not from bad diet by the way... LOL
